When I picked up photography, I needed a model, and Sally, my black dog, became my muse. She loved the camera, often jumping in front of the lens like she knew it was her time to shine. With her patience and a few tricks, I explored foundational techniques like light painting and depth of field. As Sally aged, Grace came into the picture. She was energetic, curious, and perfect for experimenting with flash photography and location shoots. Grace showed me how every subject needs their own approach to fit their story.
